What is a Crypto Bridge and Why Do We Use Them?

A crypto bridge allows you to transfer assets between different blockchains, like moving money between separate banks. Because different blockchains operate independently, you need a bridge to ensure your crypto moves securely and smoothly from one to the other.

On SX Bet, you can use the fast bridge to move crypto from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, or Scroll to SX Rollup.

1. Go to the Bridge page

2. Select the blockchain you are sending from using the dropdown menu, enter the amount and submit the transaction.

The USDC we have on Ethereum blockchain will populate on the right hand side.

1. Once complete, go to the assets page and you will see your funds under the SX Rollup tab.

Before sending crypto to another address (like Coinbase), always ensure it's on the correct blockchain, or you risk losing funds. For example, first bridge to Ethereum, then send to your Coinbase Ethereum address.

Are there Fees?

Yes, like all blockchain transactions, gas fees are involved. The good news is that SX Bet covers the gas fees when bridging assets into the SX Network. However, there is a $5 fee when you bridge your funds from SX Network to another blockchain.
